PROVEN TO BE A LIE BY LUKE SMITH HIMSELF
This is why you shouldn't specutale about things as if they were the Truth.
---------------------------------------------
Also, here's an excerpt from a post by Luke Smith:
http://m.neogaf.com/showpost.php?p=181613460
"The Valorous, Heuristic and Indomitable Light were Three of Coins-like buffs sold by the Speaker for Motes and Planetary Materials, and although I honestly don't remember exactly what they cost, it was never Silver. I can't keep the entire economy in my head, but for a variety of bug-related reasons they were removed. They were also - as has been pointed out - in the data files before TTK shipped." - Luke Smith

The damage control is real... Tsk tsk tsk typical Bungie. *fanboys* "but.. But... Like smith told me on twitter blah blah blah" This game had precedent that's just been thrown away for $4.99 plus tax If you think that selling emotes will satisfy them for 10 years you're dead wrong and you won't be seeing any "Free DLC" either. Peace.

Re read what was said. It has fine print written all over it

24 RepliesEdited by AnonPig: 10/14/2015 3:12:15 PMThat's only confirming raid consumables being sold. Nothing about subclass boosters. This is getting a bit of attention so let me clarify my position once here. In my opinion it's bad business practice to tell the community it will in no way affect gameplay, and only be cosmetic, then turn around and do this. My issue isn't with the booster itself, but with the method of getting it. Were the Speaker to sell this for 300 motes I'd -blam!-ing start saving and boost my Titan immediately, but no, it's microtransactions. These are absolutely fine, and in my opinion great, but only for non-game changing things such as cosmetic changes.

5 RepliesHe only mentioned the items involving the raid. So the starter packs and other items are still a possibility? The problem lies in the fact that if you think so or not those things are advantages that you pay for, which would open the door to other things in the future. No one knows yet for sure what will happen but you need to jump down from your high horse telling everyone to stop speculating when you are doing the exact same thing. He didn't mention any of those other things specifically so you can't have any better idea than the rest of us but since it's your opinion is has to be right? You're no better than the people making posts saying they're going to ruin the game.

1 ReplyHis verbiage revolves entirely around the Raid and nothing more. I fully expect to see strange coins/motes/weapon parts purchasable at the eververse trading kiosk. DESTINY WILL FALL AS A RESULT.

3 RepliesEdited by Phat King Bing: 10/14/2015 2:41:50 PMHow about we back track. They said that all weapons would never be upgradable. That was proof enough to dismantle my shadow price. Then they decided etheric light was a good idea. Morale of the story, don't believe anything they say. There is no proof, all of those are just words. Nothing legally binding, they can still add them if they wish.
