2 RepliesI agree with you. Alot of people on these forums just lay in wait for someone to voice an opinion, so they can "get offended" and trash it. But on the other hand, there are also helpful and friendly people on here. It's quite ridiculous that when someone has an opinion different than your own, some people feel the need to be disrespectful and put them down, by being racist, sexist, or anything else. Grow up people, seriously.

3 RepliesYou would definitely be correct in that most of those titles/tags bring out the worst people. But you have to think about why they are so aggressive about it? Are they sexist? Maybe. Are they Atheists? Possibly. But let me propose to you something else. Deep down we are all gamers right? Do you really need anymore labels than that? I mean you can add on as many titles as you want, Christian or Gamer Girl, but all it does is label you. Some people don't want to play with Christian players, and some people will harass female players... So the only one singling you out for these things is you, because you chose to identify yourself as such. It just divided you away from the main group, making you a target. Does that make sense? Granted, identifing yourself as any of these things shouldn't be a problem normally, but since we're on the internet, on this forum, its painted a huge target on your back, for all the trolls and @$$holes mucking about... You know? So its just a theory, and I may be totally wrong, but mob mentality seems to spark pretty high here. And if your not with them, your against them it seems... So yeah... TLDR: Individuality makes you a target. (That's really sad isn't it?)

1 ReplyYesterday I was stuck behind a firewall that denied access to bungie.net but (strangely!) not Reddit so to "get the gossip" I read some of the threads on Reddit instead and I have to wonder why I bother here at bungie.net - because of policies on Reddit it's like a breath of fresh air - there's virtually no sniping, swearing or endless moaning/whinging just mainly positive stuff giving info and opinions about the game. I guess the low life scum trolls don't get any satisfaction there which is why they all end up here.
