280 would be great for ppl just starting the game... but most of us aren't just starting and IB is supposed to atleast somewhat resemble end game content. GG Bungie

It is supposed to do more than that. IT IS an end-game activity.

It's not end game at all and has not been since HoW came with ToO, it's now nothing more than a bridge to get PvE players familiarised with crucible and move onto ToO.. The gear is where it should be 280, buy it for the perks and infuse higher level gear into it..

Disagree. Nonsense-on-stilts, actually. Trials and IB have nothing to do with one another. Trials is 3v3 Elimination and IB is 6v6 Control. IB is geared towards the entire community as an end-game activity, whereas Trials is for hardcore PvP only (primarily ) specialists. The prestiege of Trials comes with an EXCLUSIVE gear set that you can only obtain in that setting. It is not...never has been...and NEVER SHOULD BE a light-barrier.

Get real... IB has no challenge, it's a fun event whether it's 6v6 control or tiddlywinks it is what it is nothing more than a grind fest, if you put in the time over its duration you are 99.999% guaranteed to rank 5. ToO = end game, exclusive high light gear. Raid = end game, exclusive high light gear. Iron banner = a monthly fun event..

Eyeroll. (So little imagination). Let me put the dots close together. Iron Banner is Bungie's---and Destiny's----take on the medieval Tournament. A community event where warriors gather to practice the arts of war. ...and people who are actually PLAYING IB are reporting items that are droppign at higher ligth thatn 280.

I'm playing it and dropped a bind at 294, I'm not too fussed what light/def the drops have as that's all rng I can get the same stuff from any strike etc.. It's the things Saladin is selling that is the issue, people expect him to sell 300 light gear and I say no way because IB doesn't warrant being PvP end game when ToO does a perfectly good job of that as does KF raid for PvE players...

More like prestige. To own and wear gear that won't come around again. Markings to distinguish yourself. It's not in the tier of Trails that's for sure.
