Analyzing a research paper or a literary piece?

I'm writing a paper that's explaining "A Key to the House of Usher" by Darrel Abel. Downside being, that is an essay that explains the story "The Fall of the House of User" by Poe.

Sounds interesting. On what points are you analyzing it? Is it a critique of the essay's argument of the story or just an essay on the essay? Or is it something entirely different?

Well, I got to compare the story to the essay and talk about them and what they mean. Which is hard as shit. Oh, why does this paper have to be due tomorrow ;-;

Why did you leave it until it was due tomorrow xD? Is there anything in particular that's making it hard? Poe's work isn't very easy to work with from what I remember.

About 90% of the class did. No one knew what to write it about or how. Just analyzing the deeper meaning in texts.
