Lol they did that so new attack values aren't like 600 attack. Also, it doesnt affect you because you are poor and can't afford TTK, so you aren't doing yr. 2 activities. Your guns still do the same damage to year 1 enemies as they did before.

Why assume he is poor cause he hasn't bought it?
-
Well, why why else would you play the game if you don't have TTK? Not to mention it'd only 40 dollars.
-
Maybe he doesn't like the idea of paying more money for a game he already bought. Remember when you bought a game and that was it, it didn't keep wanting more and more money to play it? Would you also pay $60 for a single piece of dlc a year after the game came out with no idea of when they will want more money from you to keep playing it? Because it isn't $40 everywhere. Some places it's more for no reason at all and is the same price as a full price, newly released game.

It's an mmo. You obviously don't understand what an mmo is. Also, the money I have spent on Destiny is barely any.

Edited by AnubisXIX82: 10/15/2015 12:59:22 PMIt's nowhere near an mmo. Bungie have said it isn't one. It borrows elements from one but isn't one. You might of spent hardly any on it but that's not the same for everyone. In the UK with the game price, expansion pass, and taken king, that price so far for the first year is £120 which is the equivalent of $185. And that's IF a store near you was selling the base game for £40, and the only high street game store around sells them for £53 not £40

Living in the UK, I paid those high prices. I even bought the collectors edition, which the USD to Pound conversion is inexistent. So, I paid more than most, and I don't regret a bit.

Edited by AnubisXIX82: 10/15/2015 3:26:11 PMWe bought the ghost edition too so that cost £120 and another copy so could play it with the boyfriend, and it all adds up to a lot of money for a game 12 months into it. I never said you should regret it. If you're happy with it then for you that's good, I've no problem with people being happy with what they paid for. Just don't assume people who aren't happy with paying all that simply can't afford it. Some won't be able to afford it, others won't buy it because they see it as a bad practice the way it's been done. The game and the dlc. Some will even as a really poor investment of something that has cost them more than £100 in the first 12 months with no idea when more will be asked of them. At least with a subscription you know when you'll be charged and are free to skip a month if you can't afford it without worrying that things will be altered or gone when you get back to it.
-
My, aren't you quick to make assumptions on what my finances are. Reality check, kiddo.. I can indeed afford TTK. But for now, I choose NOT to invest in it.
-
Don't call me a kid unless you know of my age. Also, if you can afford TTK, why haven't you bought it? There is no reason to play if you don't own it.
-
Then don't call me broke if you don't even know how much I make a week, gnome. I can plenty afford TTK, I'm just refusing to buy it because of how much they've botched the game up. Consider me on Destiny Strike, if you will. As for your last statement, I agree. There is no way to play and enjoy Destiny currently without it, thus is why I'm on Strike until further notice.
