Your just salty Halo is second. However, of these three contestants, all three are considered sentient, sapient, and are machines. Cortana is a machine. Somewhere, a server in some building on Earth, is Cortana's physical embodiment. Or it's on Chief itself. And robots are machines that are capable of performing a complex series of tasks, like a computer. Cortana is a robot.

You are correct that Cortana is an AI and a technological program, but by the standard definition of "Robot" she is not, as she does not have a physical form.

Robots don't require at all to be what ClapTrap and Ghost are, but to simply be something mechanical and capable of being able to carry out tasks. Your computer is a robot. Your phone is a robot. A robot is a sentiment being that can operate on its own in a physical embodiment. Like siri, she isn't a robot she's a very intellectual AI now if you put her in a robot body to where she can operate on her own and function properly she is considered a robot now. But in halo they never say cortana is a robot they say cortana is a AI NOT ROBOT. So sorry sir but your wrong.

The Cortana you see is lights projected in the air. The real Cortana is programmed to act in a intelligent and personified manner. In reality, [i]she[/i], or rather, [i]it[/i] is a box either on Chief's suit, or somewhere else.
