I'd be fine so long as shotguns could no longer one hit kill, I think it's time bungie resurrected the old shotgun bash because put simply, getting one hit with a shotgun feels like dick slap especially if you've been gunning them down while they charge you

There is absolutely NO WAY a shotgunner should reach you if you began firing at them from range. One of three things s happening: a: You are not hitting your target b: You are experiencing lag; which is probably the case 99% of the time c: the player is exploiting some type of cheat

I hit them wit my auto rifle, at recommended range land biddy and precision he has a sliver of life and oh conspiracy theory, he t-bags with a sliver of health left while I still had half a mag of bullets

Sounds like Auto Rifles need a range buff to me.

I guess that would be a sort of solution...but at the same time I don't see a good reason why you should survive a shotgun blast...especially not when it's a headshot. Shotguns are extremely powerful and don't always one shot kill in Destiny. If they make it a two shot kill then people are just going to be doing it Halo style, pop a shot off and melee at the same time.

But if they get closer while you've been shooting them you can melee them first, you'll have no shield they'll be dead and unrewarded for bum rushing which I think they should be unrewarded for that
