Funny i find the best way to take down a sunbreaker is to run to melee range because the hammer hitbox is weird and it misses very easily at that range. (unless they're smarter and try hitting the floor

You can hear hammers being popped from across the map. Whenever I hear that noise I usually have my bow at the ready. Failing that my plan is to, you named it, haul ass in the opposite direction of that titan. You can pretty easily determine his general location most of the time and then just crouch/invisibility to keep him from noticing you. Just rmemebr not to hide in groups, that's just a good way to give him a multi kill.

4 RepliesEdited by HumbasPT: 10/10/2015 3:11:24 PM4th horseman, well used shadestep to make him waste Hammers, well used blink for the same purpose, nova bomb, fist of panic, focused fire from different Angles. There are a lot, it is indeed Hard to counter it single handed, much Harder than any other super but sometimes possible. OHH and shadowshot, not with the Shared damage perk but with extended duration and range.

When I pop the hammertime , I suddenly see all the red lights in my radar disappear..... While I run after them, the countdown is running too. So I throw hammers at the walls....

Not true. I'll post a video next time I kill one since you seem to think there is no counter for them. All you have to do is put some space between you and him and pull out your high impact scout or sniper and put an end to him. I play all characters AMD enjoy all of them as well so I'm not defending titan because I don't play the others. Main thing is don't panick if you do you will probably end up burnt!

10 Repliesyou want 3 ill give you 3 for each class titan: -supression grenade at your feet as he charges you +bullets to the face -lightning grenade on nearby surface and gun down/ shoulder charge+ good agility to circle and strafe them -any grenade with a sniper rifle combo warlock: -glide above were they cant see you+ shotgun to the face, repeat if necessary -blink shotgun combo(we hate this but its still valid) -long range sniper, seeker grenade hunter: -DOOOOOODDGGEEEE(seriously we suck at countering something in the air so blink shotgun or shotgun from an unexpected area in general) -strafe with rapid fire weapons while constantly jumping -shadestep or smokscreens to make them lose line of site(were like a trex, we cant see you, we lose you completely) heres a few more that each class can use: -fourth horsemen, enough said -block with sword(preferably void or arc, if its solar you will die) then swing or use special ability -snipe them/focus fire -rockets, any explosive really -runaway(its a valid tactic and is formerly called retreating or as those who would rather fight longer then be an arrogant hero who dies early is referred to as charging the other direction, pulling the firepins, march of the pansies, the yellow run, or my favorite advancing in the opposite direction) all of the above are valid strategies to not only kill sunbreakers but anything that stands in your way whether you have the balls to follow through with any of these is up to you(though with how you made this point i can already see the answer), now that my rants done i can go back to killing sunbreakers, there deaths only make me stronger and there easy to kill if you know what your doing you obviously dont, else you wouldnt have made this thread but if you follow my advice you'll kill one yet(doubtful)
