It's happening to me too. Three helms of Saint 14, two inmost lights, two the stag, two knucklehead radars.. Same thing with chests and gauntlets. They say they fixed it. Doesn't appear that way to me.

  • Yep - they obviously didn't fix anything (this would be a 2 lines query literally prior decoding an exotic engram / no excuses here they simply didn't do it), therefore my post and trying to figure out the eventual why's... If any... And Bungie also messed up the nerf to the 3 of coins too or lied to us, again, about how this nerf is supposed to work :(

  • How the 3 of coins nerf was supposed to work was to prevent players from saving a checkpoint, killing the boss, return to orbit or wiping, returning to same checkpoint and doing that over and over. Some players got dozens of exotic engrams that way in just a couple of hours. There's a timer on the 3 of coins now so that method won't work. It seems that changing the timing also messed up the percentage advantage. It used to take ten 3 of coins maximum to get an exotic engram to drop. I've burned over 15 without a drop since the patch. Another familiar pattern Bungie. Something that works well without bugs that players have figured out how to cheese. It gets patched to prevent the cheese and winds up glitched. VOG used to run smoothly until they patched it to stop players from cheesing Atheon off the edge. It was easy, throw grenades at his feet, he backs away from them and falls off the platform. They installed "bumpers" to prevent that and the raid became a mess.

  • I am starting to think that they messed up the timer they (barely) describe in the patch notes. I noticed that, with the right amount of light, we are now all running through the strikes very fast and most of them barely last 10min... Bungie was clear that they were not just trying to stop us from resuming a mission from the last checkpoint to kill a boss over and over again but to prevent us from defeating multiple bosses in a row too quickly (as in flying over a Year 1 mission?). I am kind of worried that we may now be running the strikes "too fast" for their stupid timer. In any case, Bungie should provide us with more details about this stupid timer or find another fix... IMHO

  • I hadn't thought of that. Perhaps burning a 3 of coins every other mission/strike can prevent wasting them?

this may well be the trick. Bungie should find another solution for the nerf. They obviously want us to play the strikes, then make it work only on strikes, problem solved. There is no way they can come clean with a stupid timer - the second they will say how long the timer is everybody is going to go after their best friend Draksis again every other X minutes...
