I don't care, I need multiple ones to just infuse them for my other gear and weapons to get them to 310 so....
I like getting multiple one so I don't care to infuse them in better things.

If you are shooting for 310, would you care to explain how a crappy 290 (and sometimes only 280) exotic will possibly help?!? I don't understand your point other than getting some exotic shards when dismantling some duplicate exotics or Year 1 exotics (even though you should have tons of shards already). There are much higher light level blue engrams everywhere to use for infusion...

No, blues are 300 max. Since TTK, i got like 3 invectives, one at 290 and the other two was at 310, so yeah I like when it drops at 310 for infusing better weapons/gear, but I know it suks when it's at 280-290. But hey, it's been a month since TTK is out and i'm light lvl 307 with my main so, they just can't always giving 310 weapons! It would be too easy to get to 310!

And so will blue engrams as your light level raises up - with the assumption he's already above 300 (he well may be, still an assumption though). And please learn to read, I asked a question (as in "care to explain"). No need to troll and be insulting. Don't you have better things to do?

We are all good then! And sorry as well if my "question" could lead to the perception that I was not humble. Now we are talking like educated people ;) To both of you guys, and quite off subject of this post: other than raids, how can I reach 300?!? I play like crazy (I work from home and have a lot of free time in my kind of business) and I've only seen 1 blue engram with 300 light to date. Getting a bit desperate and not finding much on the Net other than "infuse with blue engram or keep them until your other gears are leveled up". Thanks!

It's all RnG. 300 is considered the perfect roll and more likely to drop the higher your light is. Make sure your light is as high as possible while opening engrams. I grinded strikes up to about 297. Court of Oryx is also a great source of engrams (also a guaranteed 300 artifact if you have the "dispose the court quest") I'm not sure what the levels attainable will be when they release, but new gear is coming on the 13th and 16th with the releases of the new iron banner and trials. I think iron banner gear will drop at 290 and trials will drop 300+ Honestly the best option right now is give the raid a try thru LFG when u can find the time.

Thanks! Sadly, at my age (40+) I do not have a team to run the raids (not even sure I would be good enough actually with only 294 light so far and with my strong French accent playing / living in the USA). I can't even find 2 people I know to run the nightfalls :( Yep, it sucks to grow old and still be in love with video games... I guess I'll be doomed just like I was during all Year 1 and will have to rely on the revamped Iron Banner events, even though this was never enough in Year 1 to max out all my gears.
