If they do it the way Warframe dose it I think it will be fine. Warframe turns out new content each week/month.
Because of micro transactions we don't need to pay for it. Also any item that is on the storefront we can get farming in the game.
It is up to the player to ither pay for it or farm for free for it.

Correct. Also people miss the correlation between time and money. Let's say I work 60 hours a week and can't play as much. I spend $20 on even a single weapon for the game. Which isn't even an hour of pay for me. You spend hours trying to farm the same weapon for free. Time tied to money you're probably paying more for that weapon than I am. You could be at work making $60-$200 or more depending on what you do. And people are fine with that because the money isn't going to the game. They just aren't making it at all and might as well be throwing money in the trash.
