I think you're better off boosting its effective range. Damage falloff will hurt you more than any gains that Headseeker would give you. Headseeker can be good if you can utilize the guns recoil but that takes practice. Feeding Frenzy is kind of wasted since Apple of Discord has a large magazine. Crowd Control is perfect for pve, and situational in pvp, but is a helpful damage boost.

I was using it all morning, I found Crowd Control works best by killing weak enemies first, then using the boost to add damage on the bosses.
