When the Black Hammer nerf was announced I said "just make it exotic instead of ruining the best gun in the game" Guess what Bungie did? Both I don't plan on grinding for that particular weapon until it's the only weapon I don't have.

 • The very power of the original white nail perk was as game breaking as gjallarhorn's ability to destroy everything. Even as an exotic, it would still ruin the game.

 • Yeah. Understandably, they couldn't allow anyone to enter TTK with either of those weapons... I'm not angry though. The game was stale. Nice to rebuild my Arsenal from a new pool of gear, in a way.
even though I know it's a hamster wheel. I'm just wasting time here anyways
• I do completely underatand your point though. Putting power aside, bungie's reason fixingg black hammer was its exotic quality perk. So they brought it down to a legendary tier weapon. But then they bumped it up to exotic while retaining its legendary tier perk. That is admittedly quite a contradiction Love your gamertag btw
