lol right now the only damage that we do to oryx is the bombs, with the exception of the final kill. My fireteam doesn't even shoot him anymore after the stagger because the 4 bombs do an even 25% damage. We just clear the adds so no one dies during the detonation sequence.

With a team of 6 malices it is already easy to do it without bombs. Imagine once we are all 310

Interesting, my team has 3 ToMs and a 4th on the way but I was almost positive the the damage we do post stagger is negligible compared to the bombs. I.e. If we messed up a bomb no matter how much damage we inflict we couldn't make up the damage of the bomb. But your team is able to damage him just with ToMs?

He's lying. Failure to detonate bombs heals him up to full health

We have missed bombs and still done enough damage before. Im speaking kind of metaphorically

Oh, yeah. you can definitely miss bombs and still down him, you just have to go through additional rounds of mortars/taken.
