If people don't play destiny, why should they be on its forums? I see nothing wrong with this. It seems like you are trying to incite some infighting within the community over nothing.

These forums (up until around Destiny Beta I think) were for Halo players. They now inhabit #OffTopic. That forum would have no point.

If you ask around in #gaming, you'll find a good few people who have been here longer than Destiny. People who never played nor tried to discuss Destiny, but made B.net their online home over a decade ago. This sucks for those guys.
