The moldering shards gave you a gun. The description says it will give more rewards, but it really is just adding a higher chance for better rewards. At least you aren't one of those who just got shards in return lol.

Half that stuff I didn't even get from oryx lol. I don't care what rewards I get from a video game anyways, I just play and let shit happen.

It says more rewards then that's what I should get. Minimum one from oryx and one from shards...

I know what it says, but it isn't a guarantee you're going to get rewards rained on you. In another post similar to this one someone gave the same answer I did, and Bungie or a moderator selected that answer. Most likely they made the description wrong, or adjusted the guarantee without fixing the description.

Whatever the case then that's false advertising, I wouldn't even care if it had given me another shotgun! At least that would be something for the shards and if I did get the shotgun from the shards then that means I got nothing from keys and literally wouldn't have had any drops from killing him if I didn't have the shards...
