I always feared this one as a night fall
Edit: Ahhh my phone! Love all the comments, glad see that most of you are enjoying this unique strike.
Edit: I don't think Sony can take this one back people, the genie is out.

I haven't tried the nightfall, but one of my favorite things to do is: Defender Iron harvest Teslesto Sword Profit I've made over 200 orbs in a single strike using that strat

10 RepliesHm. Interesting. For months, us Xbox players have constantly heard from PS players that both PS exclusive strikes from year 1 get old very fast and are some of their least favorite strikes. Meanwhile, the gaming media, especially Sony, was all over them in the beginning expressing how much fun they were. Now, in year 2, they seem to have done it again. GameInformer posted an article about the Taken King and talked about strikes. The guy who went to Bungie said the strikes were fun, but by far his favorite was "Echo Chamber" and that he felt bad Xbox players wouldn't get to play it. Now, yet again, many PlayStation players are expressing that the strike is not fun or enjoyable. I guess this only further enforces my belief these 'reviews' that people have for games they get early access to are not so much of a personal opinion, but something that is set up. I watched PlayStation stream Echo Chamber before the launch of TTK and expected to see why that reviewer had said Echo Chamber was their favorite strike. I got bored watching halfway through the strike. Like Undying Mind, the countless waves of Vex that seem to never stop turned me off. The boss fight was meh imo. "Raid type mechanics"? You mean like how in S.A.B.E.R you carry a relic just like it to deactivate a shield? Or how at the boss fight the boss will alter the room requiring you to move around? How does that not qualify as 'raid like mechanics'? Of course there will be PS players who enjoy the strike. But what the media said about it and how many PS players are reacting to it negatively just cements the idea that what we hear is not always the truth...

Love It :D

So many failed attempts. We wiped like 7 times then I got 267 light warlock boots. Fùckin bungie
-
First run we beat it with only one death. After that we got slaughtered.
-
Its a stupid strike along with psion flayers
-
My second favorite, behind only Darkblade
-
Absolute -blam!-ed up piece of shit even more because they force you to do it to complete quests
-
Black spindle to the face all precision shots never have to reload, get team to district, sit in the back and make em whimper
-
Fun strike. I'm sad that I rarely see a full vex strike there's always Taken making it boring. The strike really allows the fireteam to constantly use their supers.
-
My favourite

I like it. Plenty of adds during fight for orbs everywhere.

Super easy nightfall to solo
-
I like it. We need way more strikes..

1 ReplyI find both the PS exclusive ones pretty tedious. Undying mind isn't necessarily difficult it just basically 3-4 rooms full of adds, clear them and move on, simply tedious. The boss doesn't really have anything special over the old Nexus strike other than he's slightly more annoying to hit due to his shield. I definitely prefer the taken version of the strike. The flayers are just equally annoying. Its not really a boss fight and I feel they are just too linear and bullet spongy, admittedly so were most year 1 bosses but still they seem to take forever to kill. Then add to that your 3 of coins doesn't even work on that strike so if you're running them for exotic its a waste of 15-20 mins.

I was jealous for nothing

it's meh... that crap for exclusive ahahaha! you got ripped.

Edited by TwoTim213: 10/7/2015 2:23:26 PMBullet absorbing hydra in solar. Edit: But catapult in the NF was fun. Napalm grenades every 6 seconds.

I love it. So many adds for my tethering needs.
-
At first I hated it. Now I think it is fun, mostly because it comes up less than the Saber and Dust palace strikes, both of which I could never do again and be happy. The mobs of yellows are fun with a couple of warlocks.

4 RepliesIt was fun for the first few times but now it seems that is the only strike i ever get and its getting a bit old now
-
Honestly, I hate it. It's boring and repetitive, the worst strike in the game IMO.
