Look below the header of the page. It says."Pardon our dust! We are pushing a patch live today. Players will be required to log into Destiny again after returning to the title screen to install patch. You should not be removed from any activities you are currently in." I am not sure is you can see this on the app but on the computer you can. =-)

The part where you learn to read. Bungie stated earlier they were patching it; the daily is today; Bungie announced an upcoming patch TODAY.
