I am a avid hawkmoon user and I gotta say the biggest advice I could give is git gud lol. With environment of pulse rifles if you pace your shots too slow you will be dead, so you shouldn't miss shots. secondly it might be something with flinching but I find the hit box for the head to be right below head so you should always aim for the upper chest . To shoot as fast as possible you have to adjust slightly down and to the right after each shot. thirdly don't get into long range encounter pulse and scout rifles will kill you. Next don't get into close/mid-close range encounters unless you are a hunter and are beastly with a throwing knife because shotguns will snipe you. Next if you are getting shot don't really worry about headshots just shoot upper chest precision shots under pressure is too much to deal with. My final piece of advice I would give is to respect the goddamn meta and use high impact pulse rifle like the sparechange.25/the messenger/hopscotch pilgrim with stability upgrades and a conspiracy theory-D because that is clearly the way the developers intended the crucible to be played...
