No thanks, TTK is superior than vanilla Destiny in every way. The leveling, the weapons, the Raid even PvP is fun for a PvE player. Let the old Destiny fade away, the new version is what it shouldve being since the begining.

I find the weapons and leveling to be worse, and I still hate PvP. Can't weigh in on the Raid; as a solo player, I'm not likely to ever do it.
-
So you are not a PvP player and dont raid either. Hhmm, what you buy this game for?
-
Edited by Hecate: 9/30/2015 10:27:30 PMI didn't buy it. My significant other did. But this game was billed as a FPS with RPG elements and a rich, compelling story (which we never got). That kind of description sounds like a pretty good fit for a solo RPG player. And honestly, if PvP were set up to be a separate mode that didn't affect PvE and vice versa and the PvE game had been made a single-player game with the option to do PvE activities in fireteams, that would solve nearly every problem Destiny has. It's too late for Destiny, of course, but it would be nice if Bungle learned from their mistake for future releases.

The problem is that it was also said that it had a lot of MMO trades. And that tyoe of game is very cooperative. I understand that you probably thought it was more like Skyrime than Halo.

I didn't buy the game because I thought it would be like Skyrim; I didn't buy it. My significant other bought it. But except for Crucible and possibly Raids, everything in this game would work great if not better for solo play. And some people can even do Raids solo. And why market a game to make it sound like a good fit for solo RPG players only to actively penalize them? And why include MMO traits if you're only going to add in the ones that hamper player enjoyment? I played through the original Destiny story solo. I played through the Dark Below story solo. I got fed up with Bungle when House of Wolves was released and quit playing until the significant other bought Taken King and I decided to see what if anything had been fixed. I've now played through the House of Wolves story solo, and I've started on the Taken King story. This game could have been made so much better for so many people with such easy tweaks and fixes, that it's flabbergasting that Bungle won't make those changes. It's even more flabbergasting that people who claim to love this game won't let other players discuss ways to improve it, even when they're asking for options that wouldn't have to affect other players.

Well maybe it should have been like this from the begining. It wasn't and now you are left with the aftermath of said choices. Everyone can't be happy and judging by the forums alot have been or are pissed with the current state of destiny. Year one was a pay to play beta. If destiny lasts another year maybe they will have it figured out correctly by then.

The forums is a really small sample of users.
-
How do you know? Got numbers to back that up ?
-
I agree, and most people who quit just quit. Same with most who play just play. This forum isn't a representation of anything. Go check out the trophy for stats on how many are playing. You can't get true look at what the player base feels at all. But in regards to people who post, the bad is overwhelming the good.
-
It has always being that way. No matter what Bungie does. This is the feedback forum where people comes to complaint about stuff not really feedback. Im always around, sometimes trolling other times having civilize arguments like this one.
-
Also where fanboys come to blindly defend
-
I know that is why I can't understand why they change or nerf some things based on such a small number of people complaining. It's one thing to pull out stats that everyone used thorn (so it needed a nerf) but they didn't need to destroy a weapon class for it.
-
They paly the game to and come to their own conclusions. The only thing that bothered me was the mag size nerf to hand cannons.
-
I would also like to add that it's pretty sad that they stomp all the weapons people love using into the ground. As soon as something is popular (even if it's not good in your opinion or mine) it gets wrecked. It seems as though they just print out a sheet of what's getting used and then destroy the weapons from top down. If you want a good weapon to stay good I guess we are supposed to not use it.

Edited by BIGL23187: 9/30/2015 4:02:56 PMThe removal of larger mags in general were really poor idea. This only really affects the pve content. It only makes the content artificially harder. In pvp i would venture to say most get killed before they use all their ammo in heavy machine guns. And with hand cannons u seem to run out at the worst times and need to reload. In regards to mag nerfs. HOW started this trend with 23 round mags. They were unusable and total trash compared to what I had. I loved my vanilla cullings that had 150 round clips for a total of 450 rounds.
