It's pretty much a primary black hammer. Yeah it's worth keeping but it takes some practice on recoil and chaining shots.

Best scout rifle I have ever used. Its a boss killer

That's a lot of opinion that I don't care to dwell on. I prefer the three shot headshots for crucible and pve, but many feel that is too slow.
