That's why I usually play PvE content, but a lot of quests force you into the Crucible.

I sympathize, as I'm not great at PvP, either, but if you feel taunted by it, you should probably concentrate your time on other games. When you buy a game with a significant multiplayer component, you kind of have to expect multiplayer experiences to be part of the challenge.
