Now that I know I could just wait for the next "Legendary" edition to get a proper $60 worth of content, I would never consider buying a DLC or expansion. I likely won't be buying again until the start of Year 4 when the "Legendary" edition of Destiny 2 comes out.
So yeah, their pricing is shit.

Problem with this is that if you buy a "complete" edition you don't get Vanilla + TDB + HOW + TTK, you just get TTK because 90% of the stuff that made up the previous iterations is either flat out removed or utterly irrelevant.

Well, you don't have to use the level boosting item that they inevitably release, could always just actually play through the content. I'm sure with enough effort you can find teammates.
