Depends on how you view an ideal world. Is an ideal world one where there is no conflict or pain, where everything is perfect and nothing grows or progresses? Doesn't sound very ideal to me. We already live in an ideal world. The suffering and pain we inflict and experience are essential to our growth. It's how we know we're human.

    Perhaps. But do you know what Maslow's hierarchy of needs is? What if there is more past that? Knowledge to drink deep from. Animals don't know what self fulfillment is because most can't move past the first level of basic survival needs. There could always be more past that. Sorry if this sounds weird, abstract thought is amazing to me
