Not sure if this is significant but in the mission where you go to the crota raid area and have to steal crotas essence to transcend me and my mate killed all the ads and when eris started her dialogue about taking us to safety valus taaun appeared on the left side. We tried to kill him but didnt have enough time before getting teleported by eris

Edited by uhbito: 9/28/2015 12:30:25 AMYou can kill Crotas sisters, those giant Deathsingers ir anuk and ir halak, to get the grimoire cards. You can [b][u]only[/u][/b] get the grimoire cards from them by killing them in that mission, you don't get the grimoire cards by killing them in the raid

Managed to kill the ogre in that section, but not Va'lus. I'll be that's got to lead something when it's the daily heroic.

I don't think you can kill him at that spot. That was just showing him becoming a Taken and then you fight him later during the "Regicide" mission.

He can be killed, my buddy & I killed the ogre, but got teleported right before we could kill the colossus too.

No, I mean I don't think you can kill the Valus the first time you meet him in the story. It's like the first or second dreadnaught mission.
