How were they crafty?? They.mentioned it in a weekly update, which I didn't read but I at least know what 'legacy' means. Don't blame bungie for all you people having a shitty vocabulary
Ita not the vocabulary that matters here. It's the cost system, in game and in real life, that Bungie has complete control over that doesn't justify itself in the end. Year 1 exotic legacy engrams for 31 strange coins to upgrade to year 2 blueprint if it has one. Year 2 exotics cost less and are sold by the same vendor. Makes more sense to buy the year 2 exotic instead of making yourself wait with a legacy engram. The fact that you can buy both at the same time trumps the ideology of the price of legacy gear, despite what the word means. If there were certain times you could get legacy engrams that didn't come with cut and you had to buy them then the price is justified. The stats for year 1 gear which is only useful for patrol and PvP doesn't justify the price, when you can get the upgrade for half the coin. Weekly updates and the dictionary doesn't justify the price and selling structure of legacy engrams. If you need certain year 1 exotics for quests then they need to give it to you during that quest, but only once for the first run. Makes more sense than hoping you get the exotic you need from a legacy engram and not have to wait another week to continue the quest. This is all Bungie's fault because they're not running their shit right.
