It appears you are using the Shield of Legends on your characters, so you did receive your forum based emblem. The tier of emblem you received, was not based on your time in the forum, but rather your rank on the old Bungie.net forum. Mythic status was not based on time in the forums, but rather the user trust rating. As a legendary member, you received the Shield of Legends.

  • Hey Anidien, thanks a bunch for your quick reply - much appreciated! While I did receive the Legendary and Heroic status community emblems, I was actually a Mythic member for a good while in the old bungie.net forum systems, and I am listed in multiple places on the forums as a Mythic member as well. But it definitely appears to be a reoccurring issue for some Mythic-reached members, that they are not receiving their Mythic emblem. It has been mentioned within the 'Mythic Members' group (a closely moderated group from the old bungie.net days) - and some people have gotten help. I believe Deej is aware of the issue, as well. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated - really hoping to finally receive this emblem.

  • I've helped a number of people, but cannot presently. If I am in a position to offer assistance again, then I will. In the mean time, I am replying to this thread so that I have a record on my profile, to act as a reminder. Sorry I cannot be of more help at the moment.

  • Can't say for certain why or what happened. When the system switched over from the old Bungie.net to the new Bungie.net, they matched the databases up based on rankings at that moment in time, and awarded emblems based on that. Unfortunately, if there was a mismatch, there is no way to obtain that emblem any longer - the results are frozen in time. The fact that you have one of the forum rank emblems, means that is what the switchover matched you to. I'm not a Bungie employee, so don't know and can't give details, but do know that the emblems are no longer obtainable at this point.

    I appreciate your input in sharing what you know about the issue, Anidien. Hopefully I can eventually get this sorted out - but the chances are looking slim.
