Was the "kings fall" raid a joke?
So far it feels like the raid is too easy and not challenging enough. We've completed it 4 times already and it's getting to the point to how easy crotas end is. Why do you guys think?
I don't understand why people are getting so mad I'm just asking a question to the ones that have finished it. In no way did I say I'm better than anyone I just want to know the opinion of people who have beat oryx simple as that no need to get butthurt over a question.
To certain comments just read this and it's what I would I've replied.
1. You looked it up on YouTube how to do it
A: when it first launched we were at oryx when bromen ( the first team to beat in ) was at oryx. We didn't look anything up since that ruins the experience and we didn't want to ruin it.
2. You die in the raid alot
A: my team and I tend to act stupid during jump mazes and we kill each other and miss jumps since we suck at jumping and our knees can't handle a land lol we have fun during raiding but we still get shit done.
3. You have a full raid team you're a scrub
A: no we are 4 and one of our guy is always high and he can't jump and dies so much I get headache but once again we still get it done. We always grab 2 lfg guys to join and we don't care if they haven't beat oryx we like helping first timers.
4. You are a elitist douche for asking a question so now we are salty and we must lay our salt upon you
A: thus question is just for the people that have beat the raid and I'm just wondering what people think so far of it about its difficulty.
5. What system are you on and can we raid
A: I'm on ps4 and my psn is dro-logic send me a friend request and we can help you beat oryx if you are having a hard time finding a good team on lfg. We don't mind if you have a hard time understanding the mechanics we understand and don't mind helping out a fellow guardian.

Normal mode is never tough though, although having an lfg group for raiding really sucks, it might be easy because you have some people you know...

Of course it'll feel easy now that you know what to expect. It took my group 11 hours when it launched and this week we cleared it in under 3 hours. With more runs and people at higher lights, it'll only get easier.

I will add you. Really want to do the raid but the teams I've been with keep splitting or are a little too low level for Oryx (without super great teamwork to make up for the lack of dps) I'm a 298-297 titan btw and have participated in all parts of the raid except for the latter stages of Oryx.

Its not too easy. It's challenging and mechanically complex, unlike crota that was just artificially difficult.

Depends what light level you are and what weapons you have, once you know what to do...

Easy is the name of a oven you bake fake cupcakes in. If you need a challenge go in much lower than the required 290 light level. Try using a whole team of hand cannons only. Try going in with a 4 man team. Just some suggestions, since you seem to have the raid down pat. Be the first to do the raid in some other fashion.

1 ReplyPersonally I haven't seen much in gaming that is so mechanic heavy like this raid is. To me that means there will be a lot of people who never complete this raid due mostly to the fact everyone has a job now! You can't just be that low level guy who sits back and just does stuff everyone has to do their part and that's probably what's holding people back. I spent 3 hours at gurglegutz when raid dropped with a team that knew what to do but couldn't get everyone to coordinate and do their jobs. Switched to a fireteam of friends who were good players and boom it was done in one go! Basically what I'm saying is if you want to complete this raid choose your team wisely

I wouldnt say its a joke, because it takes more teamwork and communication than any other activity other than skolas right after the buff, with gjally spamming the geavy glitch. But, its such a fun raid, and it feels so good when you kill oryx. But, its definitely not too hard. Lfg groups would have some trouble for a few weeks or maybe a month, til everyone learns the mechanics. To me, personally, i like this raid more than the first few weeks of VoG. Just my opinion though.

They take out bullet sponges which is he only way to make it truly "difficult" then people complain it's too easy You put bullet sponges in and people complain that " it's only hard because of biker sponges" Well you can only have one people if you are really skilled
