I would have loved to have seen this headline get legs a year ago. I said these things to whomever would listen. It just didn't get repeated so enthusiastically until now. We intend to make Destiny for a long time. We have partnerships to help us make that happen. At the same time, we have room to adapt and improvise. There would be no point in having a Feedback forum if our plans for the next decade were set in stone and locked down by contract. This #Feedback forum is such an important place because it enables you to play a role in our creative process - and we hope you see evidence of that in Update 2.0. It would be hard to make a ten year "plan" that anticipated everything you have collectively said to us as a community. The long-term commitment to the players of Destiny is there, it just isn't so defined that we can't pivot toward great ideas.

And you people wonder why they dont post anything for feedback. Any time anyone from bungie replies to a thread they are attacked and bombarded by questions that they may not be able to answer. Give them a break they are only human.

:D <3 Glad to know its an outline not a hard and fast contract, and that it gives you some degrees of freedom/separation to still pivot/deviate and do what you want. :) <3 I still want to know when i can pre-order the next expansion/dlc/sequel please :) <3 Because i'd like to get in on some of these Bundles and stuff early instead of buying everything all separately only to find out there's a better deal later or worse a better bundle/packaging that has content i'd like to get. Please announce collector's/legendary stuff farther ahead so i don't get just the expansion soon as its on the xbox store and lose out on the extra stuff that i may want. Also, please eventually come out with Destiny xbox controllers or covers and some skin or something for the xbox one to make it destiny themed? please? I know its primarily a PS game, but they've gotten 2 custom consoles one for the launch game and one co-inciding with the taken king launch, and we still don't even have a controller or a console skin much less a custom console. Plus if a custom console came out now i wouldn't know how to move all the destiny content over to it anyway and don't really need a 2nd console, so a skin or cover or something would be better if possible.

For multiple reasons : 1. Anyone can come here and voice their opinion even the angry/dissatisfied. 2. Because not liking a game is one thing, being cheated out of your purchase is another. So the whole "ignore it and move on" thing is far from the right option. 3. Why do you bother with these topics if everything is well on your side, question is, why are you on this topic instead of playing the game/being on positive topics ??

Being critical about a thing is what makes humans....well.....human. Don't get all white-knight on people simply because you like something and cannot fathom nor are willing to understand why it is some people decide to take a deeper look and say "Hey I don't like this shit!". The reason I have hung around is that essentially since I am financially vested into the game (i.e.: I spent money on this that I could have used for other things), I would like to see an effort go into the critique of said game because if I, or anyone like me, could effect change for the better, then my vestment is justified. THAT'S why people keep coming back after seeing all of the issues surrounding the franchise/developer. But, if you are content with the head-in-the-sand approach, and feel that everything's just fine even if things really are not, then that's your thing. More power to ya.
