This Tip Might Save You Hours
So my thick skull finally got this today.
For those who realized this fact a week ago, this post is not for you. I will accept insults, because I should have known better by now.
Don't scrap weapons OR ARMOR that are just beneath your current guardian's level. Give it to your other characters, because they CAN infuse it into their weaker gear. That 283 helmet that you're about to scrap on your Titan... Stop!
Give it to your hunter or warlock and infuse it to their legendary gear.
Sniff, stupid hurts.

4 RepliesWhy does this not work for exotics? I have a pair of exotic gloves I bought from xur and wanted to infuse my titan gloves. Kept saying you have nothing to infuse this gear with. Any idea?

Between using this strat and using my highest guns on each character (therefore boosting the Light level and ensuring higher Light loot drops) I got all three of my characters to 290 week 1. Happy raiding for me!

You know the sad thing is I think many of us knew this, but forgot. I'm not ashamed to say that's me xD thanks for the reminder, I'm very happy to eliminate most of the grind for leveling up my other characters. You sir, are a saint.

You could also just put the gear you want infused on your main (Say my main is a Titan). My Titan can infuse my Warlocks armor. It works both ways.

3 RepliesI had been saving high level armor and weapons for my main but never thought to transfer them to an alt! Genius! Just to clarify, for example my Titan helms can be infused into a warlock helm to boost the light level of the warlock helm?

1 ReplyI wish I could save them but I need weapon parts soooooo bad I have but no choice but to dismantle every weapon I don't use. Good advice though....Some vendor needs to sell just weapon parts.

Found this out a little late myself maybe it will help boosting raid gear and other stuff above 300 on alts way to take the bullet and inform others though
