This Tip Might Save You Hours
So my thick skull finally got this today.
For those who realized this fact a week ago, this post is not for you. I will accept insults, because I should have known better by now.
Don't scrap weapons OR ARMOR that are just beneath your current guardian's level. Give it to your other characters, because they CAN infuse it into their weaker gear. That 283 helmet that you're about to scrap on your Titan... Stop!
Give it to your hunter or warlock and infuse it to their legendary gear.
Sniff, stupid hurts.

Edit: Wow that's a lot of hateful comments lmao so many ppl calling me an idiot XD idk why tho its just my opinion :l , also you guys shouldn't get so upset when people criticize destiny, I play the game too, that doesn't mean I have to be blind to the cons of the game. Yea i actually started doing this like 4 days after i got my titan to like 299, and every 295 piece of gear i got i was like What a piece of trash, Then the light bulb went off. Now my titan is 300, my hunter 288, and my Lock 290.

Dude I literally got a bunch of legendary guns then just bought a grip of exotics and fused them into the guns lol same with armor made my Titan got some packages bought gear with my hunter switched it too my Titan and infused it had like 220 light in 30 min

Yeah, I have a trickle down system going. If I get a pretty good gun, but not good enough for my hunter, I give it to my warlock or titan. Any legendary engrams? They go to my other characters.

Edited by PROCK7: 9/23/2015 4:16:16 AMI knew this thankfully and saved my warlock leftovers and got my Titan to 280 before I got to the heroic strike quests. Now I have 260-270 gear leftovers for my hunter and rare/legendary engrams I didn't use to make it go faster for my hunter. Edit: also I found it works to infuse ONE ghost and set of weapons to interchange with my characters till I get enough for each. This allows my 287 warlock and 286 Titan hit 290.
