Hi,
Year 1 weapons will still be as useful as year 2 weapons for all year 1 content such as VoG or Crota.

Honestly, I don't think I'd use them there much since higher Light levels still let you do more damage regardless, and old gear has terrible Light. My Vault is getting stuffed, which is why I posted this.
