If you have a Titan- shoulder charge a lot. Its a One Hit Kill, but easily countered by shotguns and supers. Sunbreaker is hard to take down, plus its a free Golden Gun mixed with Nova Bomb. It's weird. Use Fist of Havoc when there are minimum 2 enemies for more points, or use it 1v1 if you are dangerously low (personal choice)
If you use Hunter- take the Precision throwing knife perk on Gunslinger, hit an enemy once or twice then throw the knife. Boom, instakill. Golden gun is a free 3 kills minimum without Keyhole perk. Blade Dancer is meh right now.
If you use Warlock- Nova bomb seems to be the best way to go in regular crucible. I can't see another plus side to Warlocks in crucible besides Nova bomb, blink, and that Void Grenade that follows you across the whole damn map.
Go for Heavy ammo whenever you're near one, and always expect an enemy to go for that same one. Solution?: Watch your minimap and see if someone is near that ammo spawn if you go for it.
Sprint when you move, slide when someone's shooting at you, always melee if you are in range, guns aren't that reliable in close quarters (besides Shotguns, and some Hand Cannons).
(In your situation)
Pulse Rifles are the best primaries.
Shotgunsare the best secondaries.
Rocket Launchers are the best Heavies.
Save scout rifles and snipers for those HUGE maps with lots of open areas and Rusted Lands.
If you have Vestian Dynasty, use it. Takes no skill to point and literally spam fire that thing.
I brought my Titan K/D from 0.7 to 1.2 now using those methods. Rest is just common sense.
Be unpredictable, eyes on radar, choose appropriate weapons according to each map, and if you think you are in danger but want to make a play, stay back and wait for your health to regen, or yolo it and see what happens.
P.S. while you're flying to the planet where the map is, press start -> roster-> look right -> inspect other players -> counter them -> profit.

As you said yourself, it can be easily, easily countered by a Shotgun. It requires you to sprint head on into enemy fire, which is why I wouldn't recommend using it too frequently. Shoulder Charging usually ends up in a trade. I'm not saying that Shoulder Charge is a bad ability (it's not). What I'm saying is that your playstyle shouldn't revolve around it.
If you use Hunter- take the Precision throwing knife perk on Gunslinger, hit an enemy once or twice then throw the knife. Boom, instakill. Golden gun is a free 3 kills minimum without Keyhole perk. Blade Dancer is meh right now.
I would recommend Incendiary Blade instead of Knife Juggler, simply because landing headshots with the Throwing Knife is very difficult to do, even for me. There really isn't any reason you should be using Throwing Knives in competitive play if you're trying to raise your K/D ratio. It's like the No Land Beyond of melee abilities. It's only really good for montages. Using Throwing a Knives does put you at a disadvantage simply because of how slowly the knife travels through the air (the enemy can easily strafe and avoid it) and how long it takes to ready your weapon after throwing the knife. In general, if you've weakened an enemy to low health, you don't want to risk losing the kill by trying to hit him with a Throwing Knife. Just gun him down the rest of the way. In the rare situation in which I'm duelling with an enemy and my magazine's empty, I would either run away or use a Throwing Knife if my health is too low for me to escape, and Incendiary Blade makes it more likely that you kill him. Both Gunslingers and Bladedancers are equally good. Gunslingers for Golden Gun, Bladedancers for Blink.
If you use Warlock- Nova bomb seems to be the best way to go in regular crucible. I can't see another plus side to Warlocks in crucible besides Nova bomb, blink, and that Void Grenade that follows you across the whole damn map.
Yeah, I'm not sure why Bungie nerfed Radiance. Voidwalker's good because of Blink.
Go for Heavy ammo whenever you're near one, and always expect an enemy to go for that same one. Solution?: Watch your minimap and see if someone is near that ammo spawn if you go for it.
Yup. Also, try to wait for your teammates if they're close by, but if they're really far away and you see red on the edges of your radar, just grab it and run. You can also use the Heavy Ammo as bait if you want. I like sniping people who rush for the Heavy Ammo on Twilight Gap and Shores of Time.
Sprint when you move, slide when someone's shooting at you, always melee if you are in range, guns aren't that reliable in close quarters (besides Shotguns, and some Hand Cannons).
Yeah, sliding is extremely effective when you're trying to escape. In general, try to avoid close quarters combat.
(In your situation) Pulse Rifles are the best primaries. Shotgunsare the best secondaries. Rocket Launchers are the best Heavies.
Agreed. Scout Rifles like the MIDA Multi-Tool are really good too.
Save scout rifles and snipers for those HUGE maps with lots of open areas and Rusted Lands.
Yup.
If you have Vestian Dynasty, use it. Takes no skill to point and literally spam fire that thing.
Hip-firing with Vestian Dynasty is the way to go. It's great for when you run out of ammo for your Primary. You can just pull it out and finish off the enemy instead of reloading or running away.
I brought my Titan K/D from 0.7 to 1.2 now using those methods. Rest is just common sense.
Good job man, keep it up!
