Agreed, shutting you out of the game is not good business.
Some of the changes they made are dumbed down versions of previously exciting content.
However, you will not win this battle with Bungie or Activision. The VERY FIRST paragraph says the only way to get a refund is within the first 30 days of purchase.

That awkward moment when you make an argument that's been shredded and laughed at all over the place.
-
I have seen a lot of laughing but no references or sources. I welcome you to find a case, settled by judge or jury, that supports your claim. I'll eat crow. At best you can pursue Deej personally for misleading statements. I do agree that what has been done is not acceptable behavior and I too would like it changed. As much as people want to say ' just buy the game if you want to play' or 'quit whining' the truth is you are correct...if unchallenged this will happen again.

Contracts containing provisions contrary to law aren't upheld in court. (for the most part) http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20…wnloaded-games http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/r/Multi…t+additions%29 This is from an EU ruling that pertained specifically to the right to resell games and the ownership of digital content in general, but it's the first one that google gave me. There are examples all over the place.

Edited by UncleSir_: 9/21/2015 9:55:16 PMCrow it is. I forget that this is a World Wide Web and not everyone is in the USA. We in the US are still fighting that battle and it has been going on for decades. I'm new to big forums like this.

People are still getting their refunds, what are you talking about
-
That may be but Bungie is not required by to do so if it is outside the stated terms. Sounds like they are just being nice, if this is true.
-
They are not getting the refunds directly from bungie. They're getting them from Microsoft and Sony
-
Oh, wow. That is good news. If Microsoft and Sony are having to deal with it I guarantee bungievision will hear about it. They may not fix this one, and shame on them if not, but I doubt they'll do it again.
