LOL.
Sad day as a game developer, when the "highest rated" post in your "feedback" forum is a thread dedicated to calling your employee a liar.
Good job Bungie. *claps*
I support this thread btw. I'm a Bethesda man now though.

If you enjoy skyrim, you also might enjoy ESO. It had a terrible launch but its a completely different game now a year later. I just picked it up a month ago and haven't put it down. This is coming from someone who played oblivion and skyrim for hundreds of hours. Eso also has a huge wealth of content.

What good games do they make?
-
Fallout and Skyrim are the two major ones. Also the only 2 I've played. But I'm sure they make more. I've also never had any issues with them as developers.
-
Oh yeah, Skyrim. I never played it, but the Tobuscus literal trailer made me want to XD
-
Yeah lol Skyrim is amazing. I'm only level 48, and I have hundreds of hours of play time, and still have a bunch of stuff to explore. And I haven't even bought any DLC.
-
It's a proper DLC too, at a fraction of the price of TTK.
-
There were 2 major expansions. Both pretty darn impressive. Dragonborn and that vampire one
-
Good lol. After playing video games for nearly 2 decades, I just can't understand how or why Bungie's DLC cost so much. Games like Skyrim or elder Scrolls have hundreds of hours of playtime, yet their DLCs only cost $15 or less, and are way more expansive. Destinys DLC seem like the original game just repackaged, and they are so often and so expensive compared to other games with DLC. :/
-
It's the marketing and their mastery of PR and the 'hype machine', not the quality of their games/DLC. More and more people are aware of their business tactics now (example: overall decrease of pre-orders), and people like AngryJoe and (to a lesser extent) BDobbinsFTW are helping to spread the word. Activision's reign at the helm of the console gaming industry will end soon, but will they be replaced by someone better or worse is the million dollar question.

Fingers crossed for better lol

Edited by Sub Umbra Floreo: 9/20/2015 2:37:26 PMDishonored, DOOM, ESO (in general), Wolfenstein ... to name a handful more.
-
Funny, I never liked Wolfenstein's gunplay. The rest of the list looks pretty solid though. Didn't realise Bethesda made doom.
-
Edited by Sub Umbra Floreo: 9/20/2015 2:59:21 PMNot exactly ... Id is the series originator there (as well as for Wolfenstein) - Betheseda's parent company just bought out Id's assets (in the form of Id itself) a while back and Bethesda has handled development (via their ownership of Id) and publishing for ports and new entries into the series since then.
-
I heard there's a new doom coming out. I hope the rumours are true, but then again Half Life 3 was supposed to have come out this year. And last year... And the year before that.....
-
It's true. Current release date is next spring, I believe.
-
Oh wow. Those are all pretty critically acclaimed too.
