What if Andromeda galaxy already collided with us and we still don't know because light hasn't got here yet?

I'm sorry my friend that's an impossibility. The notion doesn't really make sense, because as distance between decreases, it takes light less time to travel, so nothing would be able to approach faster than we can see it unless it were traveling at the speed of light, which is definitely not and cannot be true. When Andromeda [i]does[/i] collide with us, we'll be able to see it very clearly in the night sky. And don't fret, space is not dense whatsoever. The odds of something from Andromeda colliding with us are pretty low.
