A glitch is a baby bug essentially. A glitch happens randomly, if it can be caused with steps then it is considered a bug. Some glitches aren't fixed because they don't happen often and their is no sure way how it happens.

A hiccup in coding. Crota standing up sooner than he should is a glitch that became a bug, a bug is a reoccurring glitch. Your cloak becoming stiff is a glitch. Heavy ammo dropping upon death was a glitch. The sword disappearing was a glitch
