Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition? Last Chance!
[b]Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is currently free on Xbox One until 16th October.[/b]
Have you played this on any platform? It's on Xbox One & PS4 (Definitive), PC, Xbox 360 & PS3 (standard).
Edit: Played a lot more, tips? I recommend you explore everywhere search, salvage and stealth is a good mantra.
[b]If you haven't downloaded this for free you really should while you still can[/b], I have a new found love for Lara, this game is a ton of fun!

1 ReplyHell yeah! Tomb Raider has secretly been one of my favorites for as long as I can remember. So psyched they made it free so I could play it through a 4th time. Can't wait for the new one.

1 ReplyI played it on 360. The game is a lot of fun and I highly recommend it. Especially since its free. The only tip I can really give is to get good with the bow and the climbing pick. Upgrade the hell out of them. They become your best friends. The game pretty much holds your hand the entire time so you don't miss anything story-wise. But if you're hunting collectables and tombs you can always go back at any time and find them. You'll never be cut off from a "missed" collectables, tomb, or bonus objective.

I like the puzzle style, not too easy not too hard (looking at you skyrim) I can solve them but I literally get headaches when I'm stuck on a puzzle for a while. Action is sweet just too short tho. Enemies die too easily and wtf m8 the akimbo so l8 The scenery, atmosphere on some of those set pieces 10/10

I have never cared so much for a character than I did with Lara in this game. Seeing her get killed by the environment is absolutely painful to watch. Make sure you look under every nook and cranny for salvage so you can upgrade your weapons. Upgrade your shotgun and compound bow as much as you can because you will be using those weapons the most. The controls are great and everything in this game handles really well. You'll have a great time with this game just like I did.

1 ReplyI played it on PC and enjoyed it a lot. My advice is to keep moving - enemies will try to flush you out of cover, so you can't rely on staying in cover for too long.

1 ReplyI played the original non-definitive on 360. I enjoyed it a lot. I forget specifics so I plan on going through the definitive edition on the One before the new game comes out. It'll be nice to see the character evolve.

3 RepliesIt's possibly the easiest game I've ever played. Not that that's a bad thing; the game looks great and can get pretty intense and the story and characters are kinda interesting. The tombs and combat (even on the hardest difficulty) are not challenging at all though.

8 RepliesI haven't played the Definitive Addition yet, but unless they completely revamped the game, from the free 360 version, my best advice would be to collect things as you go. It's a pain to go back and collect them after. x.x
