You have no evidence of Praedyth being a man. Aside from the short TTK quest that took us into the vault and played some recordings of "praedyth", you have no proof. You cannot tell gender from a skeleton.
All opinions until we have evidence. The word "him" is often used in text to describe any being, not just a male. In my opinion, the stranger could be Praedyth. Where did the Stranger come from? No one knows. Where did Praedyth go? No one know. Coincidence? Perhaps.
You're actually taking things a little too far with this speculation. Praedyth has been confirmed a human or Awoken male Warlock, confirmed by Bungie in the story interview with GI. The Stranger is not a Guardian, even tho she uses a hunter model. she is an Exo (which do not have skeletons.) she is also alive.
Praedyth is trapped in time. So your telling me an entire quest was from another person lost in time? Who mentions both Kabr and Pahanin as teammates?
The stranger has Vex like teleportation abilities. Also has the ability to customize weapons. Praedyth was lost on time in the VoG, with Kabr and Pahanin, but there is still room to speculate there may have been three others in the vault with them. Kabr transformed himself into a Vex like creature, the Aegis Sheild. Who's to say that one of the other 3 people who may have gone into the vault weren't an exo hunter? And Praedyth found a way to transfer his/her consciousness into said exo body? That would explain why the stranger is not a "gaurdian" due to not having a ghost. Praedyth was supposedly lost in time, the stranger has "no time". Again, all speculation on my part, but there is ZERO proof to either scenario.
