[spoiler] alright, cool. [/spoiler. "Tempests are beings, cousins to Psions, that can manipulate time. We can stop it, speed it up, slow it down, among quite a few other things. I am one myself. As are you. You just slowed down time when you grabbed my sword. To any other person, you would've looked like you did it with super speed. But I'm immune to time effects."

"It's just an exertion of energy. It's stored in every fiber of your being. Now that you know how it works, you shouldn't be doing anything by accident now. Just don't try and manipulate time. It's quite simple really."

"It could be different for everyone else. But for me, It's all about picturing. I picture everything stopping, slowing down, speeding up, etc. and it happens. But I've had a lot of practice. Don't expect to get the hang of it right out the gate. And another thing, don't think your powers will save you from everything. I made that mistake... Thinking I could do anything by messing with time."
