I want to be excited, but I'm just not. Annoying power up style attacks that move me 3rd person? WTF for? Specific bits of scenery to melee to continue through the level. I'm sure that won't get annoying.
Oh yeah, and having to -blam!- about commanding the team too.

Commanding your team is part of the fun.

It shows that Spartans don't just jog and shoot they can actually do things with the armor they are given and not seem so... Inflexible you know what im saying? They don't feel clunky and robotic anymore in halo 5
WTF for?
That is done to allow you to see the damage you caused around you. Can't really see the damage you're inflicting in a 360 degree AOE attack if you're in first person. Plus, it's hard to orient yourself when your face is in the ground and you're not allowed to look around.
Specific bits of scenery to melee to continue through the level. You can literally make it through the game without telling your team to do anything.

While I am in full support of the video, the first statement ... I thought shoulder charge put you in third person as well

Yeah, I completely spaced on that.

And I don't really need to see it do I? If the damage has been caused it has fulfilled it's purpose.
Are you complaining about hidden passage-ways and secret areas?
No, I almost knew every single one from Halo CE and Halo 2. I don't really remember any having random rocks to break to get to.
You don't have to.

You don't have to. I don't really remember any having random rocks to break to get to.
No, but the rock walls and breakable geometry makes the hidden paths and areas inconspicuous. In combat zones, they create a unique gameplay flow where the enemy is restricted from traversing that certain zone/passage but the player isn't.
Having completed the game yourself of course.
No, but it's what the developers said. The AI's are entirely autonomous. The squad commands just allows you to micromanage them to enhance your playstyle.

Oh no, the game isn't on rails and finally has some in depth mechanics and design. I think you're looking for Mario Kart
