This is incorrect. The progress of all of your active characters contributed to your getting your emblem. The following article is not directly from Bungie, but it contains a quote from Bungie, and the wording implies (and the last sentence states as much) that all characters contribute. http://www.gamezone.com/news/bungie-extends-destiny-s-moments-of-triumph-deadline-3424461 I.e. if you completed all activites apart from the chest activity on one character and only did the chest activity on a second character, you would still qualify. If you deleted the second character before the deadline, you would need to recomplete the chest activity on another character or lose the emblem. People are complaining because they had fully completed all of their moments of triumph, yet when they logged on after TTK was released, they found that their chest progression had been reset to "0". Considering that several golden chests are places in the direct path of the characters during story missions, a score of "0" is inconceivable unless the player intentionally avoided opening them up (which is also inconceivable). I was stupid and deleted my main titan to make way for another character and I was worried about my progression. My tracker on both my phone and on the website showed that I still qualified despite the deleted character. I even helped clan mates complete their Skolas and chests activites. My chest count was also reset to "0" for some reason.
