Idk what point you tying to make, but destiny's budget is 500million.
20 million active players×60 per game
+
10 million dlc buyers ×40 each

1.6 billion, plus whatever they yust made on ttk
Yea these numbers might be a little off but holy F U C K
So I see no reason for such bs that their doing, with the amount of money they've made destiny should be over flowing with content.
Also literally everything we did with HoW is wiped out, the only reason to own that dlc is bc it's required for ttk!
But whatever I'll read the reviews unless ttk is amazing I'm done, getting shafted by bungivi$ion is getting old.

It will anger you to know they spent nowhere near 500 million. That is a big mis quote. They are planning to spend 500 million on the game development over the next 10 years. Their profit margins are huge and I'm starting to think Activision is dirty. I'm willing to bet Dice and EA won't screw people over with Star Wars. They have never done this kind of thing with Battlefield anyway.

I know I can't wait for battlefront. If anything destiny has been imensly popular due to a subpar year for.gaming only a few challengers really debuted in the last year or so

The value of the DLC is a different debate but I agree they've generated a lot of revenue and have not handled everything well. This was in regards to the DLC being forced and existing content/activities being removed from the vanilla game. Other people seem to think that the people without the DLC just want it for free, which isn't the case, it's about removed content. Just trying to generate some ideas and debate on how it could be better managed to preserve existing players.

Ah gotcha, personally there should be a 2nd nightfall/weekly heroic Playlist for non dlc owners. Then update previous engame activities rewards just below current engame activities rewards. Now non dlc owners have reasons to play. That's the more greedy option. Personally I believe with the unbelievable amounts of money they've made each dlc should be packed with content their making plenty of money, more free events stuff like that it would feel like the bungie of old not greedy bungivi$ion

I agree, separate playlists would be a fairly easy alternative and I think we'd all love to see more content/events. I've been enjoying the improvements to TTK so far as everything feels more polished, but we'll see how the value adds up at the end.

I'm waiting at least a couple weeks let the hype subside and see how people feel
