I have a good paying job. The 40 is not the issue. Being coerced into more dlc to retain the right to things I already paid for us just plain wrong.
I will not be buying ttk and will spend that 40 dollars on a game that deserves my support.

But the things you paid for are still available, the story content, activities and gears are all there. Perhaps the strike level should be upped a bit to 30 at least, but everything else was always aimed at the newest DLC. I should know I used to own vanilla Destiny and when TDB landed couldn't do nightfalls or anything just the normal stuff and a heroic if it was one of the base story events. Nothing has actually changed but the strike playlist set up and the max level which is really low honestly.

likewise the cost isn;t an issue it's the bullying tactics they are using to get you to throw your money at the screen that prevents me from buying the DLC.
