My goodness what a read, this isn't your regular bump at all, this is a forcheck from a 240lb left winger with 2 seconds left in game 7 on home ice for the cup.
What I pulled from this post was some feelings I had myself aside pvp as I didn't consider myself worthy enough to the 9 month onslaught of the mighty thorn, so I respectively didn't often enter crucible--
With that being said, and im on your side here -- I slightly disagree with the opinion regarding the gear. I'll explain my perspective......
I am pleased with all the generic legendary armor going useless because its all so old now, its over worn and needs a make over. In my opinion RAID LEGENDARY should remain to be grandfathered into 2.0, the VOG armour didn't have any benefits deemed useful but all those grinds for the crota gear times 3 guardian's took several months to do and still would provide useful in my opinion. But now worthless therefore depriving me of my sense of accomplishment.
When it comes to the weapons, I am pissed that not all the exotics are coming over, so not cool. All exotics and raid weapons should go 2.0 bottom line, those are activity specific items and I must admit I am asking myself why would I put another year in for this to happen again, among the posts I read someone mentioning this is standard in mmo but lets be honest here this game is not mmo-just a mere shadow of one. When GTA V does there updates/dlc I don't recall rockstar telling me my old cars are now useless as with weapons, or if I need a true mmo example lets mention Elderscrolls, when the imperial city dlc came out I wasn't told my veteran gear was useless. My main point is, in short I feel bungie keeps hitting the reset button every fiscal quarter(or near) and us the consumer keeps paying for it. How many re-balancing(s) does a developer need? If memory is correct it was only 4-6 moths ago bungie upped the shotguns 100% DAM and now subtract 50%, a little exteme for 'balance'
In summary, and my opinion, sure scrap generic,faction gear but leave us players a year in keep there RAID specific gear, Exotic guns into 2.0--im sure glad it took 10 months to finally get my crux and the mythl. from the vault just to see them reside in my vault useless.
I have ever only posted 3 times in this manner now so I know it means a lot to me, don't get me wrong im not a hater and I do enjoy destiny but even my thick skin is growing tiresome of the reset button. Last chance bungie and only because I pre-ordered two moths ago...................................consider this BUMPED/BUMPED/and BUMPED

Read. Re read. Understood. And the viewpoints are very respectable based on personal preference and logic from standpoints based on personal experience. This is a respectable response to a thread that regardless of a difference in views is in and of itself a great response to this set of topics. I commend you for you logic and respect. Thank you for your input as s fellow community member. It was a pleasure reading your comment, and I hope you contribute more in the future. Community as a whole needs more input like this. Props.

Bump, totally agree...my how the mighty have fallen!!! I'm more patient and forgiving than most people but even I grow tired of this complete and utter disaster from a managerial standpoint and as a business model. I'm tired of Bungivision acting like they're the only company that makes games and how they choose to treat their loyal customers and fans is f#€Kin recockulous!!! This was their last chance to show me and most of the people I play with that they weren't going to keep making the same mistakes but it already seems like a massive failure with less than 12 hours of game time. I should have listened to my friends that already quit playing and sold their copy of the game.
