It's so not one time zone gets to play it before the other. It is fair.

Who cares about fair lol... Never had a game do this with a hard copy.. Just wasn't expecting this... They just kind of passively slimed this out that we can't play.

You'll be able to play Destiny as a whole but TTK items don't launch on the servers until 5am ET. The hard copy is just a Destiny disc, not some new Taken King disc that only has Taken King stuff on it.

I mean I have the patch 2.0 downloaded and installed. It just didn't make sense. To me. Never had this happen before. But yes the disc being just destiny I get.

But it's the groundwork for it at least... It was a gigantic 17gig update

A lot of people care actually. Probably why they did it. It's not the end of the world either? What you can't play for like 3 hours even though you have the game already? Seriously first world problems.

This is the first time I heard this was an issue. And it's only a big deal because I planned on staying up to play... But not at 4am. I know I can't be the only one that feels that way. Not being told until hours before release that it's being delayed. Yes first world problems. I agree with that. But myself and brother in law have been planning our schedule around the 11pm CST gamestop release. I don't see how it's unfair, you live in this city you get the game. But that's just me. What time zone are you in, out of curiosity
