Runescape was my first. Used to spend days mining just clicking a rock. The game had some really cool quests! I still have good memories of that game :)

I have lots of great memories of runescape. Sounds like you are describing early runescape classic. I started my first character in January of 2002 so I definitely remember the good ole days of runescape.

Ha-ha yah! Where you would sway back and forth and hit people! I never played the updated version. But I did pay the 5$ membership for extra content and dragons for classic. That game had an awesome PvP system in the wildy~
