Please, tell me how many times people have smoked weed and driven their car recklessly and ran over people or gotten into car wrecks that even hurt/harmed others ? Now let's compare that to drunk drivers who kill multiple every year due to being heavily intoxicated while driving. Please don't be stupid and naive. The fact that smoking and driving is even considered to be a DUI is borderline bullshit. It does not affect your senses enough to impair you the same way alcohol or prescription drugs would. For every one case that someone was driving wrecklessly on marijuana ALONE, you'll find 20-30 cases where people were driving wrecklessly while being heavily drunk or on prescription medication.

I've NEVER turned on the news to "in local news a kid high on marijuana ran over a little girl" drunk people and other addicts do those things. If anything the stoner got pulled over for driving to slow. You clearly don't know shit about weed.

Because I believe that legalizing it on the federal level will do wonders for our economy. It will help create a stronger middle class (small businesses booming) it will provide jobs and best of all its an alternative and safer use compared to tobacco/alcohol/pharma --- Please read my essay.

It was legalized in my state and there's has been one difference. Kids can get it easier that's it.
