Field scout and extended mag should behave differently.
I don't mind the nerf on field scout even though nobody wanted it but I would like my extended mag perk on my dispatch I11 to do what it says and give me a larger magazine! The title, pre-2.0 behaviour and description of this perk all tell me I get a bigger mag size but you've just removed one third of the perks on my weapon that make it the weapon I want! Now I have to waste time and materials to re-roll it so I can get a perk that's useful instead of useless when I already spent time and materials to make it the weapon I wanted.

1 ReplyExtended mag does grant a larger magazine, but they reduced it by 33% and I believe it is only visible on your gun when in a combat zone, not otherwise.

You will not see any changes to the ammo when equipping Extended mag [b]unless[/b] you are in a combat zone. If you are in orbit or the tower, no changes will be shown.
