• I haven't gone so far as to open ports or set my router to NAT 1 open because honestly I'm not a system or networking admin, I don't know Cisco systems and I don't know server architecture. I don't feel that it's even something I SHOULD do considering that everything was working perfectly fine then two months ago this weasel and baboon (and once rabbit whatever that is) started to gradually become a 'thing'. Now it's part of my gaming in Destiny. I can play any other game. Heroes of the Storm, Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, Rocket League, Galak-Z, you name it. I can stream them as well either on PC or PS4, no problems at all no disconnects or time outs. But Destiny? Every night. I know its something that doesn't happen to EVERY player, I get that, but I just want to know why its happening to ME in particular and somebody has to have some kind of answer for me.

 • You could call your ISP and tell them you want the specific ports open, and to change your NAT.

 • I would in a heartbeat if I knew it would have no other implications for the rest of the household and most of all, if it would actually fix the problem. I'm reaching out here specifically because I want to know from Bungie if there's some kind of way they can ID the problem. Tell me what's wrong and I'll do everything I can to fix it - right now I just have no idea what's wrong.

 • Opening just the ports for Destiny would have no effect on the rest of your house. Opening other ports would obviously decrease your network security.
